This collection takes its inspiration from Latin America, where I recently discovered different forms of textile art, such as the mola. Most of these techniques are passed on orally from generation to generation. This collection is a tribute to the transmission of ancestral knowledge, especially between mothers and daughters. Since we have a great tradition of weaving in Quebec, I wanted to showcase a fabric made by a member of my family. This is the texture that you can find on the pieces of this collection, and this is also why the collection is called Loom.
