Care

How to take care of your jewelry?

Corrosive products, especially chlorine, bleach, make-up and perfume can damage your jewellery. To keep them in their original condition, remove them when you shower, play sports or wash dishes. It is also best to apply make-up and perfume before putting them on. Avoid wearing your jewellery on the beach, at the pool or spa so that it does not come into contact with sand, chlorine or lithium.

How do you clean your jewelry?

Silver 925 and brass

To clean your jewellery, soak it for a few minutes in warm water and dish soap, then gently rub it with your fingers or a soft bristle toothbrush. Avoid using toothpaste because it contains a slight abrasive that could affect the shine of your jewelry, or you can gently rub your jewelry with the small polishing cloth provided with your purchase to give it a little extra shine.

Oxidized silver

Since oxidation is a surface treatment, these jewels are more sensitive to scratches and rubbing. To keep their original appearance, avoid rubbing your oxidized jewellery with a toothbrush or polishing cloth. You can simply soak them in warm water and dish soap for a few minutes and gently rub them with your fingers, then rinse and let them air dry.

How do you store your jewelry?

If you don't wear your jewellery daily, it is best to store it in a small plastic bag to avoid tarnishing due to the ambient air. In addition, you should avoid leaving them near a faucet, since humidity or sulphurous water in your home could cause your jewellery to tarnish prematurely.
