The Tuareg

I'm fascinated by rituals, communities, peoples and their customs. They fuel my creative reflections, which lead me to create my jewellery. The Tuaregs are one such community. Also known as the "Blue people", they are known for their elegant indigo-tinted clothing, which marks their skin. This semi-nomadic people is one of the ethnic groups that influenced the spread of Islam and its heritage in North Africa.
